Mississippi College, affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention, is a private, co-educational, Christian university of liberal arts and sciences.

History
Mississippi College was founded in 1826 – the oldest institution of higher learning in Mississippi. It is also the first co-educational institution in the U.S. to grant a degree to a woman. Since 1850, MC has been affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention. Learn more

Clinton Campus
Our main campus, located in Clinton, MS (population 26,000), is just fifteen minutes from the capital city of Jackson.

MC Law
MC Law is located in downtown Jackson, Mississippi’s capital city and the heart of the state’s legal community. The State Capitol, Mississippi Supreme Court, federal courts, and many of Mississippi’s most respected law firms are within walking distance of the MC Law campus.

Flowood Center
The Flowood Center hosts MC’s Accelerated Degree Programs. Geared toward working adults, the ADP classes allow students to earn degrees in business administration, accounting, marketing, public relations, and sociology. Courses are offered in eight-week sessions that meet two nights per week.
